Geja's in December

A week ago, on December 12, I finished my last semester of college.  (Yeaaaaaah!!!!)  Yesterday, December 18, my husband and I celebrated our six-month wedding anniversary.  On Sunday, December 25, we will celebrate Christmas with our friends and family.

I like December.

After I finished my final exam on Monday, I changed into my little black dress for a romantic dinner with my husband.  Walking out of the classroom center after turning my last college assignment felt good.  And, since I was wearing heels, it felt even better.

Geja's is a fondue restaurant in downtown Chicago, and it was founded in 1965!  It was recommended to us by dear friends, and we finally had a wonderful opportunity to get out and celebrate.

(During dessert, Josh handed me this sweet note from his pocket.)

It has been a wonderful month, and I am looking forward to another wonderful year... with no papers to write!

Fishs Eddy

This October, as Josh and I were strolling the streets of NYC with our sisters, we spotted a delightful little shop and wandered inside.  We found a place of shopping photography heaven!

I mean... really?!?!

I left with a lovely, glass decanter (only $7), a sweet and simple bottle opener, and some new photographs to edit.  My, I do love New York!

Almost there!

My last college class ever is this afternoon.  At 1:50 p.m., I will walk out the classroom, and that will be it.  Just one exam on Monday, and it's all over.  Where did the past three years go?  Is my college career really coming to an end?  It is bittersweet, but I am excited about the future... and I am so very ready to be done!

A sneak peak of our recent trip to New York City!

I have missed updating Sojourn of Faith, I can't wait to spend more time with you all soon!
