Saturday mornings are my favorite because I don't have to be anywhere. I can simply sit and sip my cup of coffee, enjoying for the first time in six days just being in my home. Today, this sipping and sitting involved listening to Christmas music! I would normally be appalled at myself, but somehow, it just seems right. Especially since the weather outside my window is cold and gray.
When do you usually break out the Christmas music?
I love the weekends! But especially sunday mornings, even though it is the day before heading back to work, I find a sort of solitude that comes with it.
ReplyDeleteNovember 1!! Always. It's the same day that Starbucks breaks out the red cups, so it seems appropriate. I know a lot of people complain about Christmas music before Thanksgiving, arguing that it makes you skip over Turkey Day, but I think it helps set the tone for the entire holiday season! I love it all. Besides, Christmas goes by too fast anyway! :)

ReplyDeleteJuly. I try to enjoy Christmas music before I wanna cover my ears ( I work retail). Plus don't be ashamed my christmas tree went up November 1st. I also enjoy Saturdays...well pretty much the whole weekend. Plus that couch looks super comfy.
