When Josh and I are craving delicious, baked-to-order desserts, we head to the Grand Luxe Cafe, located on Michigan and Ontario.
Check out this apple pie!
The molten chocolate cake is also heavenly! The Grand Luxe also offers red velvet cake, carrot cake, double fudge cake, pineapple upside down cake, strawberry shortcake, creme brulee, bread pudding, cupcakes and cookies, and beignets. What's not to love?
Wow Faith, those look so good...especially the apple pie. Of course anything sounds/looks good right now since I ran out of time for breakfast! haha!
ReplyDeleteI hope wedding plans are all going smoothly!

ReplyDeleteOh my. I just love Chicago. I'm only an hour and a half away and I'm beginning to think these desserts are good enough to defy the gas prices for.... That or a South Shore ride may be in order! Nom....
ReplyDeleteheck to the yes.
ReplyDeletei had WHOLEFOODS vegan apple pie tonight and it was amazing. I only say that because I was able to reflect on a recent taste and be satisfied when I looked at your tempting pictures. Thanks for posting FAITH. I really want to travel to Chicago some day.. (that is where you stay right? lol that would be embarrassing if you didn't). Southern California has a great variety of food but for some reason it is always more exciting to eat pastries and delicious food outside the normal jurisdiction.
ReplyDeleteK. I'm done.
